For a long time, I've found I have a knack for all unnatural themes. For example, I am in love with the TV show The X-Files. Not only because Fox Mulder/David Duchovny is one of the most dreamiest men ever created, but because of how creepy and interesting it is. I love this show for multiple reasons. First, it's about amazing subjects such as the paranormal and extraterrestrial life. I love aliens and ghosts. Second, my mother told me my father picked my name out when I was born. He also loved this show, and I am 99.9% sure I was named after the female protagonist, Dana Scully. It's a wonder my middle name isn't Dana. If I was a boy, I'd be Fox!
Anyway, I also have a keen interest in psychological disorders. Whether it's schizophrenia to epilepsy, it captures my interest. I'm not even sure how I came to love psychology, but I've been interested in the medical field for pretty much all my life. I think schizophrenia is unnatural due to how complex it is and the effects of it. I would love to sit down and interview a psychopath or a serial killer to find out what makes them tick. That may sound weird, but I am weird!
I've done my research, and the psychological fields I'd be most interested in would be forensic psychologist or clinical psychologist. Forensic psychologists help the FBI and police to identify criminals, use their knowledge to discover what happened to murder victims, and interview suspects. Clinical psychologists talk to patients and diagnose psychological disorders.
Talking about it makes me impatient to graduate high school and go into college to study psychology!
