"Ghost On the Dance Floor" by Blink-182 is an excellent song. I discovered it off of their latest album, released in 2011, called "Neighborhoods".
I greatly love this song for many reasons. One, it's packed with emotion. The way Tom DeLonge sings it gives off how great of a singer he is. His voice gives off emotions such as nostalgia and sorrow, and he makes you feel them. The second reason is because it's written in tribute to DJ AM, a good friend of their drummer Travis Barker. DJ AM was killed from a drug overdose in August of '09.
I love this song for another reason. When I listen to it, I do not picture DJ AM. I picture a man at a dance, probably because of the title. He's staring at the dance floor and being reminded of his deceased girlfriend. I can imagine him not being able to let go of her, and when he sees her ghost in the middle of the dance floor, it hurts because he misses her so much. "If your eyes stay right on mine/my wounds would start to heal" is referring to if he blinks, she'll be gone, and he definitely does not want her to leave. His "wounds" is his broken heart. "But dreams are all I feel" is referring to how he still loves her, but he knows he's just dreaming she'll come back.
All in all, this is a depressing song. I love it's uniqueness, though, and at the moment, it's one of my favorites.
